Reader Count on Dashboard

The Reader Zone dashboard contains a quick counter to accurately describe the status of readers.

Reading Program Organizers now have better visibility and clarity into the makeup of participants in any given Reading Program.

There are now four numbers in the "Readers" column on the dashboard.

The numbers are color-coded and describe the following"

Purple:  Total unique Readers in active reading programs.  These are the readers or participants enrolled in current groups or activities and presently able to make reading entries.

Green:  Total unique Readers in active reading programs in active and inactive reading groups or activities.  These are readers or participants enrolled in active and inactive reading groups or activities. If there are groups or activities that are expired, this number includes them.

Blue:  Number of Readers in more than one Group or Activity.  This includes readers or participants who are enrolled in more than one group or activity.  If there are, for example, 4 groups and one reader is in two of the groups, you'll see a "1" in this position.

Red:  Number of readers in archived or expired reading groups.  This is the number of readers who are enrolled in groups or activities that have ended.

Once you click into a Program to view groups, the number is much simpler.  Purple represents the number of readers in an active group or activity, red represent the number of readers in an expired or archived group or activity.

The red or purple designation is driven by the group or activity dates.
