Using Social Media

How to use social media to promote your reading progams.

The three pillars of quality reading programs are:  Engage, Adapt and Report.

Your school or library can increase enrollment and completions of your reading programs through social media.

At Reader Zone, we want to provide you with the tools and assets you need to give your reading programs a great social media presence.

Click the “Resources” tab at ReaderZone.com to access the Reader Zone Toolbox. Within the toolbox is a folder called “Social Media”.

When you access this folder, you will see a large selection of images that are available to post to your social media accounts. Scroll through and view the images to select the ones that work best for you.

When you download the image, it will open as a fillable PDF file. Simply insert your organization name and reading program code where indicated. Then, export or save the image as a JPEG or PNG file.

With the file ready, it’s simple to post it to Facebook, Instagram, or wherever you’d like. The images are pre-set to fit perfectly into a social media feed.

It’s also a great idea to post your progress badges to social media. Visit the Progress Badges page on your Reader Zone dashboard and build the one that works for you.  You can post the badge directly to Facebook from the page itself. Or you can save it as an image and use it however you see fit.

Posting your reading program information and progress is a powerful way to spur engagement in your programs.

If there is asocial media asset you think would work for you, just let us know. We can build it and make it available to the entire Reader Zone community.
